VERIFIED Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly (name, email, phone, athlete details, payment data) and information generated through use of the Platform (verified measurements, testing results, evaluations, device data, IP address, usage logs).
2. Athlete Profile Information
When a parent registers an athlete, the following may appear on a public athlete profile (subject to your privacy settings): name, photo, class year, school, hometown, position, verified measurables, testing data, and evaluations.
3. How We Use Information
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Platform
- Process payments and send transactional communications
- Enable recruiter search and athlete intelligence features
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms
4. Sharing of Information
We share athlete profile data with recruiter and organizational subscribers as part of the core Platform service. We do not sell personal information to advertisers.
5. Cookies & Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Platform, authenticate sessions, and measure performance. You can control cookies via your browser settings, but some features may not function.
6. Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. Stripe's privacy practices govern that data.
7. Data Storage & Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Public Athlete Profiles
By signing the Parent Intake Packet, a parent expressly consents to the public display of their athlete's profile and verified data. Parents may request profile deactivation in writing at any time.
9. Recruiter Visibility
Recruiter subscribers may view detailed athlete data including measurables, testing, and evaluations. Recruiters agree to use this information solely for legitimate recruiting and scouting purposes.
10. Minor Athlete Protections (COPPA-Aware)
The Platform is operated under parent-managed accounts. Athletes under 13 may only appear on the Platform with explicit parental registration. Parents may request review, correction, or deletion of their minor's data at any time by emailing privacy@verified.com.
11. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law you may request: access to your data, correction of inaccuracies, deletion of your account, or export of your data.
12. Third-Party Services
We integrate with Stripe (payments), SendGrid (email), and other providers necessary to operate the Platform. Their privacy practices govern data they receive.
13. Retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active and as required by law. Verified measurables may be retained in anonymized form for analytical purposes.
14. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any action arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Davidson County, Tennessee, and the parties consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
15. Updates
We may update this Policy. Material changes require renewed acceptance.
